Tuesday, March 27, 2012 for the 10th annual
Family Arts Night, 6:00 to 8:00 pm at Greely Middle School.

The MSAD51 Arts Alliance is a volunteer, nonprofit organization
committed to the celebration and exploration of the arts for the
students of Cumberland and North Yarmouth.

Our members are creative (but not necessarily artists). We
appreciate the importance of art in everyday life and sharing
creative experiences with people of all ages. Please feel welcome
to share your ideas, lend a hand at one of our events, or come to
a meeting to learn more.

We provide on-call support for the art and music teachers in our
schools. We hang art shows, help bring visiting artists to classrooms,
raise awareness in the community of upcoming arts events, have provided financial support for classroom materials, and award student arts scholarships each spring.

Financial support of our mission is accomplished through arts-based
fund raising events, and has also been supported by grants from Foundation 51, the MSAD51 PTO, and the Greely Fund.  

Every fall we sell MSAD51 Events Calendars filled with school year
events and student artwork. All money raised by the sale of calendars  directly supports the Celebration of the Arts Program enrichment program.

Each spring we host Family Arts Night, a free community-wide
event that brings together the varied talents of visiting artists, our students and teachers, members of the Arts Alliance and community members as well.
